Using Real thing for Teaching Speaking in Junior High School

Speaking is the most important part for doing the communication. If we want to delivering something to another we have to speak, without speak we will get difficulty for convey the information. Teaching speaking not too difficult if we used an appropriate media, with using real thing could stimulate the student to pay attention more in our teaching so they can faster to understand about the material that delivered by the teacher. Real thing is an interesting media that can be used for the teacher. Generally real thing is a real object that used for replace the original object. For example like; doll, hand phone, board marker, flower, etc. So with using real thing we don’t need to bring real object in the classroom such as bear, we don’t need to bring an original bear to the class so we just make a doll that represent bear and it is simple. Following will explain about the steps of using real thing for teaching speaking exactly in junior high school.

The Function of Media in Language Teaching Process

Media is very important thing for help us in teaching process. Teaching with media we can get easy and simple for deliver material because without media we will get difficulties for gave understanding to each other. You can imagine if you teach your student without media, certainly you can get the difficulties for convey the material for your student and your students also get difficulties for understand what you mean. An interesting media will be interest student for allow our means and they will easy for understood something. Generally, teaching media is very interesting and the representation is comfort with the characteristic of the student. So, the role of media is very important in teaching process. There are some functions of media in teaching process; interactive, time shorter, interesting, and stimulate student to be active.

             There are several skills in English, but it can be classified to 4 parts; listening, reading, speaking, and writing. From those skills, speaking is very essential skill to be mastered. Speaking is very important because it for communication between one people and another people. In speaking we also have to know how we can speak well. To make a good response from the other in communication, we must make sure weather our statements or expressions are right so that our purpose can be understood well. It can depend on several aspects. The aspect is like pronunciation, it is very important thing that will influence for understanding of our partner when doing the communication. The dialog frame is the way to practice speaking and pronunciation. Bill is an English teacher for foreign language. He has been teaching English for old twenty five years now. He has worked in thirty training courses. He practically works with low level and with intonation in teaching English. The steps of dialog frame are; preparation, exercise, and practice. So there are three main stages in this method of teaching.

           English is difficult lesson for some students in Indonesia. It is because English has totally different vocabulary and pronunciation from Indonesian language and English is more difficult than Indonesian language to learn, but English is an International language that we must know about this language for doing the communication with each other from foreign that we don’t know their language.

There are four basic skill in English which must master by the student who learn English like; vocabulary, listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Actually, there are several ways to learn English easily. One of the ways is by watching English movies. In fact, there are several advantages of watching English movies in increasing English skills for students such as increasing vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening skills.

An Importance Grammar to Speak English Well

In the teaching and learning English, there are four essential skills; speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Teaching speaking is very important because with speaking, the teacher will know the result of achievement and successful of their student.  To do speak English well, grammar is very important. So, actually the grammar is part of speaking.  When we speak without grammar, it is like we eat without pilaf. With has a good knowledge in grammar we will get easier to speak English. So, the questions are; why the grammar is very important for speak? What kinds of grammar that must be mastered to help us for speak? How we can apply grammar in speaking?
